Indian Railways showcases it’s latest innovation Tejas Express today in New Delhi

Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Friday inspected the Tejas Express at Safdarjung station in New Delhi. Indian Railway’s Tejas Express trains are set to run between Mumbai to Goa.
Train is capable of running at speed of 200 kilometres per hour and coaches are equipped with a slew of on-board facilities including LCD screens, redesigned seats, CCTV cameras, automatic doors, personalised infotainment systems and an advanced fire alarm system.
As per the reports, Catering service will be part of Tejas fares like Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains.

The Tejas Express will also serve choicest cuisine curated by celebrity chefs.The newly-designed coaches are capable of running at 200 kmph. However, as the tracks cannot endure such high speed, it will be restricted to 160 km/hr.
