People protest against JDU government for alleged police highandedness in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur

People today staged a protests in New Delhi against Bihar government for alleged police highandedness in Muzaffarpur.

Earlier this week, The protest against illegal occupation of the Waqf board’s land in the Paki Sarai and Room Mohalla area of the city police station area of Muzaffarpur in Bihar turned into a violent clash. The people of the Ulema faction locked in three houses by accusing Waqf of illegal possession of the land.

The police has taken dozens of people including Maulana into custody. The injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. On the spot, DM and SSP have taken stock of the situation.

But the protestors at Jantar Mantar alleged that police went on Rampage and thrashed Maulana.
