Greater Noida (05/06/2017) : 108th board meeting of Greater Noida Authority took place on Monday noon. It is the first board meeting since after the change in state government.

After the culmination of board meeting Greater Noida authority CEO Debasish Panda briefed the press about the minutes of the meeting.

The key decision taken in this board meeting are as follows:

  • The plots allotted under Greater Noida authority’s RPS-01 and Ex T -01 residential plot allotment scheme will be relocated from sector-2 and sector-3 as development in some of these areas could not begin following orders of the Supreme Court.
  • For all kind of future development and construction work pertaining to Greater Noida authority, E-tendering and E-procurement methods will be put to use.
  • For land acquired in Village Gulastipur, farmers will be given 64.70% more compensation as per authority’s proposal.
  • For financial year 2017-18, Greater Noida Authority has passed a budget of 6443.05 Crore rupees. Out of this 1,100 crore has been allotted for land acquisition, 1096 crore for construction and development work, 114 crore for rural development and 3510.80 crore for other expenses including urban development.
  • In the financial year 2017-18 there will be no increase in land allotment rates.
