KIRAN WALIA EXUDES CONFIDENC OF WIN IN LAST LEG OF HER CAMPAIGN FOR RE-ELECTION FOR THE FOURTH TIME FROM MALVIYA NAGAR
Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit today said her party “is on strong turf”, as Congress has in the last 15 years transformed the national capital into a modern city.
While addressing a largely attended rally in Hauz Rani in Malviya Nagar constituency Sheila Dikshit said “Delhiites are mature enough to decide their future and added that they have the choice of opting for performers or non-performers. The Congress has a long experience of 15 years of transforming Delhi from a state lacking infrastructure to a state boasting of its magnificent, modern and longer lasting infrastructure.”
” On power rate issue both the BJP and the AAP party are misguiding the people of Delhi as Delhi government is the only government in the country which is providing sbsidy of Rs 1.20 paise per unit till first 200 units. More over the power tariff rates are decided by the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) which is an autonomous body, not by the Delhi government as made out to be”, Said Mrs Dikshit
She said that her government has performed well in almost all sectors including transport, health, education, power distribution, rural development, environment apart from focusing on the social sector
Delhi Education Minister Prof Kiran Walia is seeking re-election from the Malviya Nagar for the fourth Time. While speaking on the occasion she said “Congress will come back for the fourth time in Delhi and make Delhi a better place to live “
