Lenovo launches its killer smartphone, K8 Note with impressive camera specs

Lenovo launched its camera centric smartphone on Wednesday in New Delhi, the K8 note for a price of INR 12,999. The K8 Note is a successor to the K6 Note, a 100 percent build of stock Android and a dual camera setup at the rear. Lenovo claims that the camera, performance and software experience are the three characteristics of the smartphone.

 

The main significance of the smartphone is it’s camera, it consists of primary 13MP Pure Cell sensor mated to a secondary 5MP sensor. The secondary camera can be used to take bokeh shots (images with depth of field effects). On the front, there is a 13MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 for selfies.

The K8 Note is available in two options – one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM for Rs 13,999 and another with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM for Rs 12,999. The smartphone is available in Venom Black and Fine Gold and will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India from August 18.

The K8 Note is the first smartphone from Lenovo comes with a near stock build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and K8 Note also comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display covered with Gorilla Glass for protection against nicks and scratches. On the multimedia front, the smartphone supports Dolby ATMOS and Theatre MAX. There is also a dedicated Music Key on the right edge which can be used to control music playback.
