New Delhi: Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched well-known journalist Deepak Chaurasiya’s book ‘Kura-Dhan’ in Delhi today.
Kura-Dhan is entirely based on the waste management system, atrocities happening with pile of waste and how you can save your environment with the help of converting waste into wealth by using technologies.
While speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenate Nitin Gadkari said, “It is time to wake up from deep slumber and save your environment with the help of converting waste into wealth. We have technologies, resources but we only need manpower. Young entrepreneurs should come forward in waste management system to earn profits and save environment.”
“This book is totally based on the problems we have been facing due to waste mismanagement and its following atrocities. This book also covers the solution of the problem. This is more than a book. We should not only read but also follow these methods in our day to day life.” He added.
Following the event, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan said, “It is good thing that we are talking about waste management. And now we have a well-researched book which teaches us the methods of recycling waste. We should read it.”
Besides, stalwart of leaders and journalists took part in the book launch. Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, AAP leader Ashutosh and other participated in the event.
