(21/04/2017) Greater Noida : Major Gaurav Aarya was in Greater Noida to participate in an event held at Galgotia University.

When Ten News asked him about immensely low turnout in recent Srinagar elections he said, “This time stone-pelters were specifically targeting polling booths to discourage people from voting. The people of the region strongly believe in democracy and in previous polls the turnout has been up to 70%. This time extremists targeted the election process in well-coordinated way and it’s really sad that people have been discouraged because of their terror tactics”.

He also said that influx of more money by Pakistan to fund stone pelters has increased the menace in the region.
