Man short dead by friend in influence of liquor

A 30-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by his co-worker outside a liquor shop in Surajpur area of Greater Noida on Thursday night.

Police identified the victim as Anant Singh, who worked as a salesman at the liquor shop. Singh had come from Allahabad and was residing in Greater Noida for more than two years. The incident took place around 11.30pm, when Singh and two other salesmen, identified as Samar Bahadur and Deepak Kumar, closed the liquor shop and started consuming alcohol outside it.
As per their narration by Sumer to police of the incident is that some of the guys came to the shop and asked for English wine but they refused as it is a desi wine shop and on this heated exchange went they shot Anil.

But when police interrogated them strictly police came to know that Deepak had a pistol with him and the three started pointing it to one another under the influence of liquor. They had removed the magazine from the pistol but there is still a bullet stuck in pistol and the three were threatening to kill each other and it continued for half an hour, the police said. During this, Deepak pointed the pistol at Singh’s chest and pressed the trigger. He immediately fell and started bleeding profusely, the police said.
The two other salesmen were questioned, after which Deepak confessed, the police said. A case of murder was registered against him and he was sent to jail and they are investigation further.
