MCD Polls- Congress manifesto aims to provide big upliftment to poor class.

Ajay Maken released Congress manifesto for upcoming municipal election on Monday.
The manifesto, includes six points, upliftment of urban underprivileged class, strengthening of municipal finance, improvement of education and health services, and plan to upgrade urban infrastructure.
Congress has also planed to set up a dedicated team to look into the grievances of the economically backward sections. We would provide free health insurance, unemployment security funds with special focus on street vendors, domestic workers, and people living in unauthorised and resettlement colonies, said Ajay Maken.
For improvement of urban infrastructure, the Congress will now allow extra floor to malls or commercial units if they make arrangements for appropriate disposal of waste and its recycling or treatment for reuse
