New Delhi: Workers of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) protested on Thursday against the Delhi Government, seeking for their long pending demands.
Hundreds of MCD workers protested outside the Gandhi smiriti at Rajghat where they travelled to Delhi Secretariat, demanding that their pending salaries should be released.
Workers say they are on strike as they have not been paid salaries. The Kejriwal government has failed to pay our salaries and other demands.
“It seems that we will continue to suffer as no higher authorities are not paying any heed to our issues,” said one of the protesters.
“We will fight for our rights till the government will take any decision,” he added.
