MEETING OF FONRWA OFFICE-BEARERS WITH CHAIRMAN & CEO, NOIDA AUTHORITY.

1. FONRWA delegation, comprising of  President,  Shri N.P.Singh; Secretary General,                  Shri  A.N. Dhawan;  Sr.Vice Presidents, S/Shi  Suresh Tiwari, Rajendra Shukla  &  Brig. Ashok Hak;         Vice-Presidents, Mrs. Anju Pachauri, S/Shri Vijay Bhati & Main Pal Singh Yadav,met  Shri Rama Raman, Chairman & CEO, Noida Authority, today at 12.30, as per appointment already fixed.  Shri Soumya  Srivastava, DCEO, NA.was also present  at the meeting.

2..           A representation containing the key & critical issues concerning Noida residents, was  submitted  to him, a copy of which is attached herewith, which is self-explanatory.  Each issue contained in the representation, was  presented one by one, and details contained  therein, were discussed.

3.            The Chairman was extremely  positive in his response and expressed his approval in almost every issue, except FREE  HOLD, for which he had some reservations.

4.            He agreed to have monthly meetings with FONRWA and gave his consent to have  a meeting with all RWAs in Indira Kala Kendra auditorium very soon. Our demand to have a specific cell for having a dialogue with RWAs (which existed earlier) was indicated to be considered favourably.

5.       Reg. public representation/ bhagadari  of RWAs and their due recognition, we were asked to work out and provide requisite  details of precise  plan in this regard. He indicated that they are to submit a plan in this regard to the State Government in two months’ time.

6.             Issues relating to construction of boundary walls, improvement in quantity and quality of drinking water;  provision of sports club; permanent  passes to RWAs;  drive for cleaning of nalas & storm water drains; eviction of encroachments;  improved facilities in Govt. hospital, evoked positive response from the Chairman.

7.                            Reg. control of stray dogs, the Chairman informed that funds of SPCA have recently been raised. Furthermore, they are  in the process of identifying and finalizing  two more agencies to look after the work relating to sterilization and other connected issues.

8.                            Reg. disposal and treatment of municipal waste,  landfill site has already been identified and finalized, having an area of 125 acres, in Greater Noida.  Two agencies are also being finalized, to cater to the requirement o lifting of kachhra  from the houses.

9.                            Laying of underground power cables is already in progress and expected to be completed in the city in about five years’ time.

10.                          Necessary steps are being taken for provision of a large size auditorium, on the pattern of habitat centre.  DND Flyway issue is pending in High Court and NA has been and shall continue to render requisite support, as may be  in public interest.

11.          Reg.  cleanliness in the Sectors, it was stressed that the work may be brought under control of RWAs as the contractors are not performing effective services.  Suggestion regarding adoption and control of parks in the Sectors too seemed to evoke positive response.
