Model police stations represent New India : Anil Baijal, Lt Governor Delhi

While innaugrating the model police stations initiative at Parliament Street police station, Lieutenant governor Anil Baijal said that, model police stations concept deals with the presence of more inspectors, sub-inspectors, and assistant sub-inspectors in a police station means complaints and grievances of public will be heard and addressed in a more professional manner.

I am delighted after innaugrating the initiative, it’s a concept of New India which also includes digital India initiative.

The idea to establish the two police stations into officer-oriented facilities was taken in March by the police commissioner after a meeting at the LG’s office where Anil Baijal initiated the concept.
