National Doctor’s Day celebration by I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida

I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida celebrated “Doctor’s Day” on1st July 2015. National Doctor’s Day was created to show appreciation to your doctors. Doctors perform vital diagnosis, treatment and care for yourself and your family.

The Chief Guest Dr. Pawan Gupta Director Oncology Services, JP Hospital, Noida along with Dr. Anmol S Kalha Director- PG Studies and Dr. Puneet Ahuja Principal I.T.S Dental College inaugurated the ceremony, which was followed by a small speech by Dr. Dr. Pawan Gupta; he added that this day is dedicated to all the doctors opportune to remind them of their vital role in our lives. Doctors owe challenge that even a minor mistake could drastically affect a patient’s life and commitment to serve them by all their might. People find Doctor’s Day a perfect time to recognize the pressure of the job, expressing thanks to doctors for mentoring and to be grateful for their ability to comfort and heal .In the last he added when you are well, your doctor keeps you well. When you are sick, there is no other person more important to you than your doctor.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Anmol S Kalha said that people find Doctor’s Day a perfect time to recognize the pressure of the job, expressing thanks to doctors for mentoring and to be grateful for their ability to comfort and heal.

Dr. Puneet Ahuja said that the large population of India depends on the efficiency and responsibility of doctors to a large extent at all times medical professionals in India over the years have shown remarkable improvements and made definite progress in medical treatments that need to be acknowledged·

Skit was performed by the students of the college to show the working life of a Doctor and its work for the well-being of the society whom they suffered priceless.

A Debate Competition was also organized on the current tropic” Medical Profession- A Business or Noble Profession”, in which students presented their views for and against of the tropic. Winner of Debate was Dr. Uday Pratap(PG Student).

Around 500 Faculty, PG Students, Interns and Under Graduate of I.T.S Dental College were present to mark this occasion.

Prizes were distributed to felicitate students who won Debate Competition.
