As the highest numbers of complaints being registered with Uttar Pradesh Real State Regulatory Authority are from Noida & Greater Noida, so now Noida Extention Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) demands for a Tribunal bench to be setup in Greater Noida so that it will accessible and convenient for home-buyers of the region.
As per the statistics around 30 thousand complaints have been registered regarding builders project from Noida and Greater Noida alone and this number might have increased if a bench of tribunal was here. Regarding this the association has already given a written appeal to CM Yogi Adityanath.

“For each complaint, the hearing is being scheduled at least twice or thrice if not more. For the buyers who have complained, this demands that they visit Lucknow as many times as the hearing is scheduled. Most hearings are during weekdays so people have to take leave from work to attend these. Because in Noida and Greater Noida there are a large number of housing societies were proposed and construction of heavy sites were going on , so at least a bench of the Tribunal should be located here,” Abhishek Kumar, president Nefowa, demanded.

The motive behind “RERA is to protect the interests of the buyers, so the most basic thing is the accessibility, it should be accessible to buyers. We have made an appeal. Once again we will take this request to Noida Authority, the committee of ministers in charge of this and to the chief minister as well. By our estimates, so far almost 80% of RERA complaints being made from Noida and Greater Noida as these two cities have the highest concentration of new apartments,” Indrish Gupta, co-founder Nefowa, said.
