New Delhi: John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Satyameva Jayate is all set to hit the screen on Independence Day.
Ahead of the film’s release, the star cast including John, Manoj, Aisha Sharma and producer Bhushan Kumar were in national capital to promote the film on Thursday.
Interacting with media about the film, John Abraham said “We choose this film for two reasons – first is brilliant script and corruption. We have tried to give strong message with this film which is full of entertainment and actions.”
The film is going to release on August 15 in 2,500 screens across the country.
Asking about the clash with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar said, “Today, India has too many screens, audience of different test, who want to see both films. I think, both films are of different genre and people will love it.”
Talking about his role Manoj Bajpayee said, “People like to see me in strong roles like Police officer or Army men but I want to do variety of roles like Aligarh and Satya.”
When asked about, have you ever taken or given any bribe to anyone, both actors denied and said no we have never indulged in bribery. Both the actors also recalled stories of such incidents.
