The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2017 unveiled to the world recently at the Geneva Motor Show, is expected to make its India debut at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo in 2018. The urban compact hatchback is already on sale in Japan, Australia and Europe. Based on Suzuki’s new HEARTECH platform, the next-gen Swift boasts of a reduced kerb weight in comparison to the older generation model also along with increased fuel economy. Expected Price: The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2017 price in India is expected to be slotted in the range of INR 4.5 lakh to INR 8 lakh. The next-gen model of the Swift is to be more premium than the model it is going to replace. Hence, expect the prices to be a bit more premium than what they are now.
Launch Date: The new Maruti Swift 2017 will make its public appearance in India during the 2018 Delhi Auto Expo, scheduled to happen in the month of February. The India launch date of the Swift is likely to be around the first half of 2018 itself, around the month of May to June.
