Noida based Official of UP revenue services Arrested in Bhopal after Junior alleges him of rape!
An official posted in Noida on the post of Deputy Commissioner in Uttar Pradesh revenue services has been arrested by Bhopal police after his junior official accused him of rape and assault.
As per details coming-in from Bhopal, the victim lady was in Bhopal to take part in some school function and was staying at a three star hotel in Bhadbhada road. The accused named Pankaj Singh is the UP Sales tax deputy commissioner posted in Noida.
The victim has alleged that on the night of incident, his senior from the department asked her about her whereabouts. On being told about the same, he came to her hotel room around 12 PM.
Victim in his complained has said, “After arriving at hotel he assaulted and raped me. The accused has been blackmailing me for last 8 years after making an MMS. He has been threatening me to show it to my husband and daughter”.
The accused Pankaj has been arrested by Bhopal police and they are interrogating him.
Speaking to a news agency, Bhopal south SP said, “We have received the complaint on Monday. The victim and accused know each other since 2010. They were in Bhopal on 2nd August and have been staying in different rooms. As per victim’s statement she was threatened and raped on 2nd August night. She was supposed to leave back for Delhi on 5th August but the accused stopped her and raped her again on the day. We are investigating the case and necessary action will be taken as per IPC”.
