NTP Conducts Traffic Violation Check at Ryan Roundabout Greater Noida, reprimands staff for barricades!

Noida Traffic Police today conducted a much needed traffic inspection drive at Ryan roundabout Greater Noida, which is infamous for large scale traffic violations in terms of wrong side driving and illegal parking. The citizens are heavily troubled by such traffic menace which can any day result in any unfortunate incident. This particular roundabout is in close vicinity of three schools namely Ryan International, St. Joseph and Father Agnel. Increased traffic movement during the closing and opening time of these schools causes traffic snarls primarily due to gross violations by different commuters.

In today’s inspection various violators were penalized and were made aware about the importance of following traffic rules for the safety of themselves and other road commuters.

Ryan Staff Reprimanded for Illegal Usage of Barricades

It was also brought to the notice of law authorities that a barricade is repeatedly being used by Ryan International School authorities to blockade the service lane. Many commuters complained that this act restricts the usability of service lane at different hours and encourages wrong side driving.

TI Avinash Saini expressed his utmost displeasure on the unwarranted use of barricades and warned the staff to not to repeat the act.

Ryan Principal Sudha Singh however said, “It is for the safety of the children that barricades are only used during the opening and closing hours of the school. Many parents have also supported it. It is not at all the intention of the school to violate any norm or cause any inconvenience to the citizens”.

Another school bus of a different school passing through the juncture was also checked by the traffic police for different safety norms.

Active Citizen Team Joins the Traffic Awareness Campaign:

Members of Active Citizen Team also joined in the traffic awareness campaign and requested all to strictly follow the traffic rules.

Alok Singh from Active Citizen team also suggested that there are three schools in the vicinity of Ryan Roundabout, who all should collaborate to install CCTV cameras at the juncture to the
