Not only metro, CM Yogi will also gift these public projects to Greater Noida residents

Greater Noida (24/01/2019) : Days ahead of the 70th Republic day the city of Greater Noida will be getting a number of gifts in form of public projects including the much awaited Greater Noida metro.

CM Yogi Adityanath will be in the city for inaugurating the Aqua line metro and would also inaugurate two newly constructed sewage treatment plants.



He will also be laying the foundation stone of bridge to be constructed over Hindon River that will provide direct connectivity from Sector 146&147 to Greater Noida’s Surajpur.

Greater Noida Authority has constructed two sewage treatment plant in Sector Ecotech 3 and Ecotech 2 with a cost 28.15 crore and 20.75 crores respectively. The treatment plant in Sector Ecotech 3 has a capacity of 20MLD and is also equipped with sequencing batch reactors technique (SBR) (a type of activated sludge process for the treatment of wastewater). These sewage treatment plants will cater different industrial units and waste from different nearby village like Habibpur, Darin, Kulesara etc.

During his visit, CM will also be laying the foundation stone of bridge to be constructed over Hindon River to decongest traffic on Pari Chowk. For this authority has already signed MOU with Rajya Setu Nigam while the Irrigation department has also given No-Objection certificate. Irrigation department is also conducting a model study of Hindon River. The estimated cost of this bridge will be 62 core and from February 2019 work on this is expected to get started.

Once this bridge will become operation the vehicles commuting from Sector 146&147 towards Greater Noida’s Surajpur will get direct connectivity with touching Pari Chowk. This will not only decongest the traffic snarls at Pari Chowk but will also save the time of commuters.
