NEW DELHI : Times Literature Festival witnessed a very interesting session titled ‘Yogi Adityanath- The Rise of A Saffron Socialist’ which has presence of author Pravin Kumar and BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra.

Author Pravin Kumar who has monitored closely the rise of Yogi Adityanath since many years said, “Yogi’s national image is ironically based just on his appearance and some one-liners that he had said her and there. But is very important to understand that Yogi Adityanath is much more than that. He is a five terms MP and the way he functions in his constituency is method worth adopting for all”.

Sambit Patra further quipped in and added, “Uttar Pradesh has shifted from self serving Government to people serving Government. There was a lot of bias towards a particular community in last regime. Which in a way hampered the overall development of the state. For example if a road is developed it is for all or if a hospital is made its for all. I am glad that finally we have a CM in Uttar Pradesh who is fulfilling this role”.

He further said, “There is nothing to be apologetic about wearing Saffron or as Hindutva as an ideology. In recent times I very much agree that Saffron socialism has been born and we can term Yogi Adityanath as Saffron Socialist”.

On comparison between CM Yogi Adityanath and PM Modi, he said, ” The Prime Minister is dedicated for the growth of India and in same manner CM Yogi is completely dedicated towards development of Uttar Pradesh’.
