New Delhi: Today in the national capital, Congress announced a candle march to be organised in the Central Park on November 22nd, Thursday.

Sharmishtha Mukherjee and Pooja Bahri, spokespersons of Indian National Congress made these announcements while speaking today at an event in the memory of Indira Gandhi, Iron Lady of India, who’s 101 birth anniversary today. They discussed some of the facts related to increasing pollution day by day majorly in the national capital.

Sharmishtha Mukherjee also shared the reasons why congress is taking such step at this time of the year.

She said, “Today is a very special occasion to declare a candle march to make ruling parties in the nation and nation’s capital realise, what they say, they don’t work for it. There were hundreds of campaigns that were conducted in past years so as to control the pollution level in the national capital but they were all organised for an increment in the electoral roles.”

Commenting at the session, Pooja Bahri said that,
“Indira Gandhi was a lady of her words. She always introduced various measures for the betterment of the environment we live in. She always worked for a better living having every citizen in context. Today, BJP & AAP are just playing with a serious issue like pollution, for which they only carry out various campaigns just for the sake of votes. ”

Congress will conduct a candle march in the central park on 22nd November where they will target all the negative aspects of AAP & BJP.

With thousands of supporters Ajay Maken will lead the candle march and will spread a word about measures to be taken so as to control pollution in the national capital.
