Patanjali Partners with Flipkart, Amazon, Will now be available online!

New Delhi: Baba Ramdev, who became a businessman from Yogguru, has now entered into e-commerce. He has tied up with major e-retailers like Amazon and Flipkart to sell Patanjali’s products online. On Tuesday, the agreement between Baba Ramdev and the companies was signed in New Delhi. Baba Ramdev opposed FDI in retail sector. He said that FDI should not come in the retail sector.
Now Patanjali products will be found on Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, Grofers and Bigbasket and other major online portals. In addition to these companies, Patanjali will also sell his products on the platform like shopclues and netmeds.
Baba Ramdev said, Now Patanjali will grow towards becoming a non-profit profit company. For this, the company will make a charity worth Rs 1 lakh crore in the coming days. He said that we will also donate the charity to the people.Online mechanism aims to provide convenient and efficient option along with extension of traditional retail market”.
Patanjali Ayurved managing director and CEO Acharya Balkrishna said “the new e-commerce platform and partnerships will help the company in reaching more people. It will help “reach those who do not have access to the point of purchase and they are looking for alternate mechanism to shop and can get Patanjali products at home”.
Speaking on the partnership with Patanjali, Amazon India VP (category management) Manish Tiwary Exclusively Speaking to Ten News said, “We are thrilled to partner with Patanjali and enable easy access of their products to customers across the country.
