New Delhi: Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Wednesday said that patriots, martyrs are matter of respect, no matter what their ideologies are and which party they belong to.
“Patriots are patriots, no matter what their ideologies or what party they belongs to,” Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said while unveiling freedom fighter and martyr Bhagat Singh’s jail diary in New Delhi.
Book publisher, Prabhat Prakashan has published the dairy of Bhagat Singh which was authored by him during imprisonment, which original copy.
While addressing he said, “This was a diary, which was written by Bhagat Singh himself during the imprisonment. Now, the diary has turned into book. Ironically, it has taken us 70 years to turn this remarkable diary into book.”
He further said, “I would advise the publisher to convert this book digital and as Information & Technology Minister I will extend my full support.”
On the request of family members of Bhagat Singh to make a list of freedom fighters and martyrs and frame a law for those who call them terrorist, Prasad said, “I assure everyone that, I will personally request the home minister to prepare a list of martyrs and frame a law in this regard.”
