PM Modi Inaugurates Delhi Metro’s Blue Line Extension In Noida

Noida :–PM Narendra Modi today flagged off the Noida City Centre-Noida Electronic City section of Delhi Metro’s Blue Line. Passenger services on this section will begun today. It may be noted that the completely elevated section with six stations — Sector 34, Sector 52, Sector 61, Sector 59, Sector 62 and Noida Electronic City — will benefit the people of Noida.



Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of State with Independent Charge in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs was present at Noida Electronic City Station for the inaugural session along with Jai Pratap Singh, Minister of Excise and Prohibition in the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

DMRC Managing Director Dr. Mangu Singh said, ” Phase 3’s last section inauguration is carried out by our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi remotely speaking far away in Greater Noida. This will be one of the most memorable moment in the life of DMRC.”

Minister Jai Pratap Singh said,

“Technology taught us in 2014 that in every corner of country can be covered up with their development work sitting at one place. Today, our Honourable PM has inaugurated last section of Phase lll Metro Construction (Noida Electronic Station), by waving green flag away from Greater Noida. Uttar Pradesh is booming in terms of development and will surely reach among the best states in coming years.”

Hardeep Singh Puri speaking at the inauguration said, “Sometimes people overlook the NCR Metro System . I would like to share that till today, Metro in India is almost 650 km long, other then that 900 km project is under construction and almost 1000 km projects are still in the hands in form of proposals.”

“UP’s speed is very finest in terms of technology development. All the major proposals for UP development started lining up from 2015 under the governance of Modi Government”, Hardeep Singh Puri added while interacting with media.
