PM Modi is converting India into cruel nation: Sitaram Yechury, CPI(M), General Secretary

Banning Tripura’s CM Manik Sarkar speech of Independence Day by DD and AIR came after the Tripura Chief Minister refused to change parts of the speech that Prasar Bharati found inappropriate for the occasion and asked him to rephrase it, following that Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury held a press conference in New Delhi on Wednesday.

Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury condemned the whole move and said “its against the rights of any individual and PM Modi’s idea of cooperative federalism is also declined after the incident”.

He further said that, it’s against the freedom of anyone and nation is going in a wrong direction day by day. PM Modi is converting India into a cruel nation through his leadership, he added.
