Greater Noida: The city police have nabbed two men in connection with a murder from Durg Gol Chakar on Sunday morning. Police also seized two 3.15 bor live cartridges , a Santro car, two mobile phone and 10,000 cases.

The accused was identified as Kaushal Kishore Dikshit and his accomplice Shaliendar Dikshit, both were native of Kannauj District of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said, Kaushal Kishore Dikshit with the help of Shailendar has allegedly run over a truck on his wife Vineeta and father-in-law, Harikrishan on December 23, 2017, at Gulistanpur village of Gautam Buddha Nagar district. In that incident, Harikrishan died while his wife Veineeta survived and fighting for life in the hospital.

During the police interrogation, Kaushal admitted he had suspicion on Vineeta’s character and often assault her. His father-in-law, however, Harikrishna was unhappy with his behaviour and often tried to stop him.

Jolted with it, Kaushal conspired to kill his wife and father-in-law. On December 23, 2017, Kaushal accompanied Shailendra ran over a truck and tried to frame it like an accident.

Then, Surajpur police had filed an FIR and launched the investigation. During the probe, police found that it is murder rather than an accident and started looking for his husband. Acting on a tip-off police arrested duo on Sunday.
