President intervenes into Baba Ram Rahim verdict violence, Sakshi Maharaj defends Ram Rahim

Violent clashes across Delhi, Punjab and Haryana have followed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim conviction for raping two women followers in 2002, President Ram Nath Kovind has intervened in the issue and urged to all citizens to maintain peace. Conversely, BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has defended Baba Ram Rahim and questioned the verdict of Panchkula court.
Tension has been raised in capital after the verdict and all Delhi Metro stations have been alerted said CISF, DG, O P Singh. Till now 28 people have died in violence and train named ‘Rewa Express’ has been blazed at Anand Vihar Station in New Delhi.  Section 144, has been imposed in Gautam Budh Nagar district, also called NOIDA, in Uttar Pradesh.
In a press statement in Hindi, signed by spokesperson Dilawar Insaan of the Dera Sacha Sauda also appealed for peace amid widespread violence. Around 1000 people have been taken into police custody in violence-torn Panchkula.

After all these massive violent activities, Panchkula court has directed to recover all the public property losses from Baba Ram Rahim’s assets and will increase difficulties for self-styled godman.
