New Delhi: Bollywood star and Unicef goodwill ambassador Priyanka Chopra delivered an inspirational Speech on ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling, Chasing a Dream’ as part of The Penguin Annual Lecture 2017 on Tuesday.
The Precious event has been graced with names as big as the Dalai Lama, APJ Abdul Kalam, Amartya Sen, Thomas Friedman, Amitabh Bachchan, Ramachandra Guha, Dan Brown, Jeff Kinney, Ruskin Bond and others, but shockingly have not included a single woman up until now.
Priyanka Chopra the first woman to grace in this inspirational event said, “There’s only one you and once you understand you’ve taken the first step to find your unique self, Let your dreams fly, give them wings by being fearless. No matter where you’re in life, you’ve never arrived to pursue new opportunities, Be greedy for your ambitions, be hungry and Never live up to anyone else’s benchmarks.”
Speaking about her Support System, “I was treated a certain different way because I demanded it. I had my parents’ support. But there are so many women who don’t have that kind of support. To all those women, find someone who will stand by you”, Bollywood Diva Added.
