Prominent Academicians of India to converge at EPSI round table conference to discuss GST in Higher Education!

Education Promotion Society of India is organizing a high profile round-table conference in the National capital on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Prominent academicians from the country including Insitiute founders, chancellors, directors and Chairmen are expected to attend the half day conference at Constitution Club of India.
The esteemed gathering of best mind in the field of academics in India will conduct a round table discussions on “Indian Higher Education: Global Aspirations Regulatory Challenges-Specially in the context of the GST Levy on Outsourced Services of Higher Education”.
BJP National Vice-President and Rajyasabha MP Vinay Shahastrabudhe will be inaugurating the session and will also deliver the inaugural address.
EPSI is a non-profit autonomous society which has been undertaking several initiatives by giving the country a unique platform for interface between Industry, Academia, Society & the Government.
The society has already met and given representations to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and MoS Santosh Gangwar on the issue of GST being levied on outsourced services in Higher education.  The society members have also met finance ministers of different states in this regard.
The round-table conference in Delhi is being organized to conduct a detailed discussion and brainstorming session on the impact of this taxation regulation.
Dr. G Vishwanathan, Fonder and Chancellor, VIT university is the president of EPSI while BIMTECH Director H Chaturvedi si the alternate president. MREI Faridabad President Dr. Prasad Bhalla is the treasurer of EPSI.
