Proud to train students for marathon and not sprint says BIMTECH Director H Chaturvedi at 31st Commencement Day Ceremony

Greater Noida :– Birla Institute Of Management Technology Greater Noida celebrated its 31st commencement day today. Aptly named as ‘Diksharambh’ the ceremony marks the beginning of academic year for the newly admitted batch.

Delivering the welcome address BIMTECH Director H Chaturvedi said, “BIMTECH’s current batch has students from complete stretch of India right from Agartala to Gujarat and Srinagar to Thiruvananthapuram. We are pleased to have a Stephen’s graduate and Group President HR and Corporate Services & CEO (After Market Services) at Mahindra and Mahindra Group Rajeev Dubey was the chief guest. We are also pleased to have Guest of Honour Alok Kumar Chaudhary, Chief General Manager, Delhi Circle, SBI”.

 

Talking about BIMTECH’s great repute among B-Schools of country he said, “BIMTECH is being rated very high by all government agencies such as NAAC as well as MHRD ranking”.

Talking about facilities at BIMTECH he said, “Ours is a residential centre and we are run by faculty and not owners. A significant number of our faculty members are Industry veterans who are here after an illustrious experience in Industry. We have strong alliances with B-Schools and universities in five continents from the world”.

 

Talking about diversity he said, “More than 25 states are represented by student and faculty members of BIMTECH. We stand for representing diversity of India. Our credo is excellence with values. We won’t leave values for excellence and we won’t have values without excellence”.
Speaking on significance of this year for BIMTECH and India he said, “In our 31st year we will be working on our weakness and will be enhancing our strength.
The nation will also celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi who had a very close relationship with Birla group. We intent to organize a series of events on the thoughts of Mahatama Gandhi and its relevance in modern times”.
Setting tone for the two years of the students he said, “We take pride in claiming that we train people for marathon and not sprint. Students have to prepare themselves for a life long learning and experience and not only for placements. In the future world merit will be the only currency. Your journey starts today and that is why it is called Diksharambh”.

 

There is also going to be a one day orientation program to best prepare students for a rewarding career. BIMTECH regularly has a lot of industry interaction through out the year and students will get a lot of such opportunities.

 

Speaking to parents he said, ” We assure them that a healthy environment to pursue education will be provided to all the children. We will prepare them for a life long career. You have posted your trust and confidence with us and BIMTECH, and you have given us your most precious asset, BIMTECH with its thirty years of experience will also give back to these students it’s best teaching and most precious experiences”.
