New Delhi: Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said that BJP’s “Main Bhi Chowkidar” campaign has turned into a mass revolution on social media with 1680 crore impressions and 20 lakh tweets.

Addressing the Media at BJP HQ, Ravi Shankar said, “The campaign’s video was watched by 1 crore people on social media. Around 20 lakh people tweeted it. The campaign has become a global trend now.”
Ravi Shankar Prasad on whether main bhi chowkidar is on the lines of 2014 ‘chaiwala’ campaign, said, “Chaiwala” jibe was started by Congress. Then PM Modi said yes, I am a chaiwala. Main bhi chowkidar is a movement and the people of the country are supporting him.
He further said, “Prime Minister on 31st March, will interact through video conference with people who have pledged their support to ‘Main bhi Chowkidaar’ movement, from 500 locations in the country.”
“Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi was speaking to start-up professionals. Some techies opposed him and tried to ask questions. They were arrested. Rahul Gandhi was in full support of tukde tukde gang and talked about freedom of expression. Look what they are doing now,” added Prasad.
