New Delhi: This year Republic Day Parade on Rajpath will witness tableau of All India Radio which will be leading a series of 23 tableaux during the Republic Day Parade and will feature Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly address Mann Ki Baat.There will be a total of 23 tableaux in the parade, out of which 14 would be representing different states and Union Territories.
Though Some tableu are not included in this republic day parade, UP government tableau themed ‘Subah-e-Banaras’ has not been included in this year. Instead, it will now be a part of the parade in Lucknow. Another contention is west Bengal’s tableau which is rejected from the Republic Day parade.
On the other hand, adding on some attractive elements every year to capture the attention of public while imparting important messages, for the first time, women battalion of Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change will participate in the Republic Day parade glorifying the dominance of females in every sector.
The Republic Day will be also celebrated with leaders of all 10 Asean countries coming to India as chief guests. This is the first time 10 leaders will grace the celebrations as chief guests.
