Scotland Yard Police Visit Gautam Buddha Nagar, Appreciate Noida Police’s Efficiency

Yesterday a team from Scotland yard police on visited Noida’s centre for crime investigation cell and lauded the efforts of Noida police the way they handling the complaints related to cybercrime.

 

Alex Blatchford, Director of Scotland Yard’s Cyber Unit Service delivery visited the member of cyber cell unit and their counterparts in Noida.

 

The team appreciated the way Noida police uses social media channels in spreading the information to the people in real time, and keep a tab on traffic management in the district.

 

Blatchfoard said “The volume of complaints received by (CCIL) in a month is equal to the complaints received by cybercrime cell London police in a year. Despite having so many complaints, Noida police is faster in technical surveillance and location identification.”

 

“Both the police teams use the same software application for dealing with complaints on Cyber crime. Especially in the field of obtaining call details and identifying the phone locations Noida police is way ahead of The Scotland yard police if we go through statistics.” Blatchford said.

 

He met district SSP Love Kumar and his team at his SSP Office in Surajpur on Monday afternoon.

He was impressed with the state of the art setups and appreciated Noida police team for their innovative ideas and IT technology roadmap for the district,” said Vivek Ranjan Rai, in-charge of CCCI Noida. The team also lauded UP Dial 100 service and Operation Muskaan, which was initiated to trace missing children.
