Sector 123 Landfill Site Protest Continues, Delegation Reaches Ghaizabad to Meet CM Yogi!
A day after large gathering of individuals near sector 123 SLF site, the center of protest has today moved from Noida to Ghaziabad. Large number of people stayed at Sector 123 protest site till late night on Sunday and prepared strategy for today’s protest.
The residents are under various types of confusion and fear that a Ghazipur kind of garbage mountain would be formed at Sector 123 Landfill Site however Noida Authority has categorically denied this suspicion.
Noida Authority has said that sector 123 site is in no way a dumping ground but a landfill site where garbage will be processed soon after its arrival and it will in no condition rise above ground level. They have also said that there is no probability of it polluting the surrounding environment or releasing poisonous gases.
Unperturbed by these clarification, the protest against sector 123 site has continued even now. A large delegation has reached RKGIT college to attempt meeting the CM and seeking his direct intervention in the matter.
