Shiela Dixit and Ajay Maken Attack Kejriwal Government for making excuses to run out of responsibility

Erstwhile Delhi CM Sheila Dixit along with DPCC Chief Ajay Maken today attacked Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi Government for making different excuses to run away from his duties of governing the state.

Ajay Maken detailed about the 15 years long governance of erstwhile CM Shiela Dixit and said that she was able to develop and run Delhi for so long and so efficiently without ever getting into any such logjam.

He said, “Shiela Dixit also governed Delhi for about 6 Years when there was BJP rule in centre. Yet a coordinated efforts were made with bureaucracy and central government to work on the single pointed agenda of development. In 1999 when Shiela took over as CM she didn’t even change any secretary or cheif secretary and governed well for about one year while continuing with the same bureaucratic structure. She was always of the view that a cordial relationship must be maintained between bureaucracy and ministry to effectively manage Delhi. Her main projects such as Delhi Metro also came when there was BJP government at the centre. Hence it is the quality of the effective leader to Govern instead of making excuses”.

Former CM Shiela Dixit was also present during the press briefing and she said, “This is very unfortunate that secretaries and elected CM have come to such stalemate. Whatever happened at the said night when Chief Secretary visited CM residence was very sad and must be probed. However it is the responsibility of the elected government to ensure that development of Delhi doesn’t suffer”.
