(19/04/2017) Greater Noida : Speaking during a session at Global Exhibition of Services, Ramesh Sippy the renowned director of Indian classic movie Sholay said that it was audience choice that is influencing today’s movies.

He said, “Every movie cannot preach or give message. There are all types of movies currently being made in India and it is quite a good type for filmmakers. Even a movie like Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a great moral of exploring peace between two neighbouring Nations and such movies shall be encouraged”.

Speaking of high budget movies he said,”If a Hollywood movie such as Avtaar takes huge investment to make, it also gives out equally good returns and is appreciated by a global audience. So fixing a budget cap can never be a way forward to encourage small-filmmakers”.
