Special Privileges to farmers who agree to give land for Jewar airport

District administration remained successful in taking consent of 4,210 families out of the total 5,926 that will be affected from Noida Green field airport. Now almost 75 % of the farmers have given their approval for the accusation and the process is still on.
Today DM B N Singh told that “This is the most democratic way we had followed for the accusation as we also had order from chief secretary that not a single farmer is been forced for this decision. We had done regular camps and assured & clarified whatever misconception & concerns farmers were having regarding the acquisition.”
“Whatever promises were made to farmers would be fulfilled. Administration will issue a special card to the affected families over which they will be given relaxation and special privileges. We will ensure that they will get special attention in government offices or in police stations and treated in a respectable manner. They had made a great contribution and sacrifice for the development of the region. Apart from this will also try to enroll the affected families in the different industrial units in the region.”
He further said “work is still not over our officers will remain in touch with the farmers for 100 % approval and we hope sooner it will be accomplished. The administration would soon provide the details of agreement to the state government “After the government’s response, a notification for acquisition of land will be issued under section 11 of the act.”
“We will forward the details to the government within a week” he responded over a question.
