SSC Protest 9th Day: Police nabs three barbers to prevent mass head shave

New Delhi: Despite the assurance of Home Minister Rajnath Singh for Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) in alleged SSC scam case, protestors have denied to call off the strike on the 9th day.

Since February 26, SSC aspirants have been protesting at SSC Headquarter in Delhi demanding CBI probe in the examination held between February 17 to 22 for 8000 post.

After a lot of hue and cry and political pressure, Home Minister Rajnath Singh orderd for CBI probe, however, protesters have been demanding to the notification before calling off the strike.

As the days are passing the protest is going intense and drawing huge crowd and support from social media.

Demands —

Today, the protests have been demanding for a time-bound CBI investigation under the surveillance of the Supreme Court. Moreover, cancel all the upcoming comparative examinations till the CBI probe end.

Metro Shut Down Again

Sensing the gravity of protest and to maintain law and order Delhi Police administration has decided to shut down the metro services of the nearest Jawaharlal Nehru Metro Station again.

Police arrested barbers

To avoid mass head shave of the protesters Delhi police arrested three barbers while they were shaving the heads of student at the protest area. However, two were managed to escape while police nabbed one.

Interestingly, as the police arrested barbers many of the students left with half-shaved head. While talking to Ten News a protester said, “When police rushed to nabbed the barbers I have had half-shaved head and save themselves barbers run away leaving me with half-shaved head.
