STEEP INCREASE IN ACCIDENT AND TRAUMA CASES IN GREATER NOIDA

Medical and trauma experts in Greater Noida have expressed concern at increasing number of fatal road accidents and Trauma cases in Greater Noida .

“During the year 2014 alone total 5034 cases of accidents and trauma were witnessed resulting in 362 registered deaths The number of trauma patients has increased since then. Most of the road accidents are taking place due to increase in number of vehicles and accident black spots in Greater Noida as well as on Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway” said Dr Dr. Y. P Singh, Head of Department Intensive Care Unit, Max Multi Speciality Hospital, while speaking on the occasion of completion of One year of the hospital in Greater Noida.
