Swine flu claims 13 lives in New Delhi, as per the data of RML Hospital

Over a dozen more swine flu patients have lost their lives in New Delhi, most number of died patients were in the month of June, told Dr. R. N. Sood, RML hospital on Thursday.

 

He stated that, total 13 patients have died after diagnosed with H1N1 positive and around 90 patients are suspected with the virus, which are admitted in the hospital.

 

Talking about the symptoms of Swine flu, he said that Swine flu or the H1N1 virus spreads through cough and sneeze like the ordinary flu. Its symptoms, are also similar to the flu – cough, runny nose, body ache, fever and nausea. However swine flu patients often tend to suffer from severe breathlessness.

Delhi government has asked all the hospitals to provide report on swine flu deaths and the condition of patients under treatment on a daily basis.

The swine flu season is still not over, everyone should take necessary measures to totally eradicate the disease.
