I.T.S Dental College has dispelled any such misconceptions
GREATER NOIDA LOKESH GOSWAMI
In such difficult times where questions are being raised regarding the Dental Institutions,
higher education and the profession as such, a bold step by the Management of the I.T.S
Dental College has dispelled any such misconceptions. The salaries of all the junior doctors
were hiked across the board on the 3rd of May 2016. The progressive thinking Vice Chairman,
Mr.Sohil Chadha emphasized that today’s need was of quality and that the faculty was a
prime resource in the success of an institution. This bold step was also aimed at the issues
regarding the employability of the young doctors which are hitting the headlines and causing
dejection amongst the young professional.
Mr.Sohil is engaged in restructuring the institution, streamlining policies and laying the
foundations of a quality based institution. He is confident that I.T.S will emerge as the
premier centre of excellence in the NCR and Northern India. Also on the anvil is a centre of
Clinical excellence which would provide accredited programs in professional development.
Also all increments have been streamlined to a period of 12 months commencing 1st Feb
2016. The increase in salary comes in addition to the increments.
In this era, with job or without a job, graduates and postgraduates are facing serious financial
constraints. Where the otherprivate dental colleges and hospitals have always relentlessly
chosen to exploit the helpless dentistsand their circumstances to create an underpaid dental
workforce, Mr.Sohil Chadda has chosen to be class apart by respecting the skills of these
worthy professionals. I.T.S, today holds a benchmark for pay scales and quality treatment
among the other private institutions.
