I.T.S Engineering College organized a Fraternity-The Literary Society.

Fraternity-The Literary Society of I.T.S Engineering College organized a debate competition for students of B.Tech 2^nd year, on 29^th of July. The topic of the debate was-“Is GST good or bad for Indian economy”. The competition was open to student of all branches. The participants were 1^st allocated a maximum of 5 min to express their opinions.

Miss. Shalini Anand, Dr. Renu Chaudhary and Mr. Ankur Bhardwaj graced the occasion as the judges of the competition.

Judgement was largely based on the content of the speech and oration. The winners of the debate in Hindi were 1^st -Pratiksha Shahi and 2^nd -Umesh Gaur & in English -Faheem Aftaf and 2^nd –Shharsh Chaurasia and 3^rd Aayushi Sharma.  And Tensin & Basra  won consolation prizes.

The object of this event was to cherry-pick the best candidates who would go forth and represent our college in various inter-college debating events.

The student coordinators for this event were Himalaya Gupta(ECE 3^rd year), Khushboo Gupta(CSE 3^rd year) and Shamita Sharma(CSE 3^rd year).
