The Aam Aadmi party fought and won the 2015 Assembly elections on bijli-paani promise coupled it with its main agenda of crusade against corruption and failed to present their work of two years, is the main reason of AAP’s defeat in MCD elections 2017, told Gopal Rai, Delhi Chief, AAP.
He further said that, there is one more vital reason of AAP’s defeat, that is tampering of EVM during the elections by BJP, he blamed.
To overcome the issue, we will launch a campaign titled, Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot, for strengthening grassroots of party from May 21, he added.
Talking about Gujarat elections, he said that, we are still making efforts to expand our team in the state and issue of participation in assembly elections will be taken in upcoming PAC meeting.
