London, Jul 25 (PTI) Actress Kate Beckinsale has laughed off rumours of romance with British comedian David Walliams after enjoying a cosy dinner date.

“This is my dear friend, @davidwalliams,” Beckinsale captioned a snap of the friends at dinner.

“… Everyone can relax and know we are friends, as we have been for the last 2000 years.”
The 42-year-old “Pearl Harbor” star was photographed wearing a sexy white halterneck jumpsuit as she dined with Walliams at celebrity hotspot Scott’s Restaurant in London, where they engaged in an animated conversation as they sat at an outside table, reported Contactmusic.

Beckinsale and David, 44, were also pictured sharing dessert as the British beauty giggled away, and they ended the night with a tight hug as they parted ways.

The dating news has emerged eight months after Beckinsale was first rumoured to have split from her director husband Len Wiseman.

The couple, which wed in 2004, has yet to officially comment on its separation.

Meanwhile, David is also single after divorcing Dutch model Lara Stone last year. The pair shares three-year-old son Alfred.
