Three Ministers Panel Submits report on builder-buyer issue to CM, 50k flats promised in 3 months

After visiting Noida-Greater Noida at the end of last month, the high level panel of three ministers today apprised Uttar Pradesh CM about the issues concerning Builder-Buyer deadlock of this region. The meeting also had presence of Authority CEO’s, who as per a source were instructed to deal strictly with defaulting builders.

Urban Development Minister Suresh Khanna, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana and MoS Suresh Rana have been entrusted with responsibility of resolving the builder-buyer issue of Gautam Buddha Nagar district.

While visiting Greater Noida on 30-31 August, the three ministers had back to back meetings with buyers and builders. Soon after the two day meet, they announced some instant relief measures such as No-Payment till possession, FIR’s on defaulting builders and introduction of co-developers for stuck projects.

Today at UP secretariat the panel met UP CM Yogi Addityanath and submitted their report to him regarding this issue. Jewar MLA Thakur Dhirendra Singh was also present during the meeting and he apprised the CM about grave concerns of the buyer fraternity.

After the meeting MLA Dhirendra Singh said, “CM Yogi Adityanath is sympathetic towards buyer fraternity and every possible measure is being taken for early resolution of this issue. The biggest decision that has been taken today is that 50 thousand flats will be delivered to the buyers in next three months”.

The panel is once again expected to visit Noida-Greater Noida on 14-15 September to take stock of other small projects and other issues of the district.
