Three years of Urban Development Ministry has been satisfactory for everyone: M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Minister

Urban Development Ministry, M. Venkaiah Naidu Urban Development Minister released the booklet for 3 Years of Urban Transformation and said a total investment of ₹4,13,475 crore has been approved under Amrut, Smart Cities, PMAY-U, SBM-U and HRIDAY.

More than 300% increase in total investments & per capita investment approved for improving urban infrastructure, he added.

He further said that, MoUD has come out with a National Policy on VCF for capturing a portion of an increase in asset value18 States and UTs have appointed Consultants for formulating VCF policies and guidelines for resource mobilisation.

He concluded the press conference by saying that, the performance of MoUD has been satisfactory so far for everyone and list of next Smart Cities project would be out on June 23, he added.
