Two arrested with country made illegal liquor worth lakhs in Noida

Yesterday night Noida Police arrested two men with 126 cartons of liquor while they were on the way to smuggle it. Both were identified as Raman Dogara a resident of Palam Delhi and Karamveer a native of Panipath Haryana

Both the accused were arrested from Chilla border on tip-off given by a police informer. When police stooped a Honda Accord car and searched it police found cartons of liquor in place of back seat. The car was modified and the back seat was removed to make space for cartons.

SHO Anil Pratap of police station sector 20 said “On 28 December 2 people and a Accord car and a TATA vehicle was nabbed with desi liquor of Haryana near Chila border on the tip of given by a informer and 126 cartons of liqueur was recovered. It is being estimated that the cost of the same is around 5 to 7 lakhs.”

Further he told that “a whole gang is working behind this. We are trying to nab the top leaders of smuggler Gang”, tomorrow both the accused will be presented before court.
