Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh briefs oposition parties on China and Kashmir issue

Home Minister Rajnath Singh briefed the opposition parties this evening at his residence on the ongoing standoff with China over a road builiding in Sikkim and the security situation in Kashmir after the recent terror attack on Amarnath pilgrims. A fresh batch of around 3,500 pilgrims, escorted by security forces, left for the Amarnath shrine on Thursday morning.

The all-party meeting was aimed at taking the opposition leaders into confidence over the major national issues.

Derek O Brien, TMC leader stated that, we are not satisfied with the government’s reply on the issues and would keep raising all the issues.

Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister showcased his faith in the government’s reply and policies.

However, Congress leader, Ghulam Navi Azad, was seen bit dissapointed with the overall meeting and said that, government should act accordingly to the current situations.
