New Delhi: After Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari accused the AAP government of failing to act on environment protection despite having “ample” resources, and asked it to share details of spending of the environmental cess, the BJP MLA’s have taken the fight for clean air to new paradigms.

On Thursday, Former Delhi BJP president and union minister Vijay Goel led the anti-pollution cycle rally in Nation’s Capital to protest against the Arvind Kejriwal government’s failure to curb the menace of air pollution.

RWAs, environmentalists and students also joined the movement and a social media campaign “Right To Breathe” was also initiated to create awareness on the drive.

Addressing the media, Vijay Goel said, “This anti pollution cycle rally is a step to unite the public and transform it into a people’s movement in order to reclaim our Right To Breathe and safeguard health of our future generations. Instead of blame game, Kejriwal must wake up & take action to control Air Pollution.”

“Kejriwal spends most of his time reviewing movies on twitter and indulging in blame-game and power tussle.some reports point out how youth are falling victim to respiratory diseases due to Delhi’s toxic air quality. The collection of green tax and not spending it shows AAP’s lack of seriousness in managing the situation,” Goel added.
