UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma Secret visit to exam centres leaked on WhatsApp

Today Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh visited various exam centres under district Gautam Budh Nagar where ongoing UP Board exam are Going on. This visit of CM claimed as a surprise visit by the district administration but a message floated over Whatsapp groups shared the information of Cm’s alleged secret visit with media.

Since February 7 state is having 10th and 12th UP board exams in which a total of 58,06,922 students are appearing. For conducting exam 8,354 schools have been made as examination centres out of which 1,314 examination centres have been categorized as sensitive while 448 examination centres have been categorized as hypersensitive.

So in concern of that Deputy CM himself said in an interview given to PTI “The intention of the UP government is to curtail the use of unfair means by students while making efforts to improve quality of education. Centres in the state, which reported maximum cases of cheating in the past, will be strictly monitored. New software has also been designed and a four-step process initiated to check the menace of copying in the Uttar Pradesh board exams.

Today the Deputy CM visited Government Girls Inter College Badalpur and Shri Agrasen Adarsh Inter College in Dadri as per part of his alleged surprise visit. But the question arises that, why the secrecy of this visit was not maintained if this was a surprise visit.

There is no doubt that info of this visit leaked to the concerned college and the people indulged in unfair means got alerted. So it seems that the district administration and government failed over what they claimed to be a surprise visit.
